Job Context

  • Upazila Sachetan Society (a non-govt. development organizations) is implementing Gold Star Member (GSM) initiatives under Community Mobilization Program with financial and technical support of Social Marketing Company (SMC) in 23 Upazilas of Natore, Bogura, Siraganj, Rangpur, Jashore, Kushtia, Gaibandha, Joypurhat, Naogaon and Dinajpur districts with a view to promote adoption of healthy behaviors of targeted population and to create demand for products and ensure easy availability of quality health, nutrition and family planning services. Sachetan Society seeks a talented and aspiring candidate who would join our team and meaningfully contribute to reach the goal of the project.
  • Job Purpose: Upazila Supervisor will be responsible to implement the community mobilization activities as per plan and will report to District Manager (DM). The Upazila Supervisor will provide support to the Community Mobilizers (CM) to perform their daily activities and will achieve the annual projection of the program. S/he will work in close coordination with other project staff i.e. Monitoring Officer, Accounts & Admin Officer and Deputy Project Manager and other staff. The Upazila Supervisor is also expected to maintain a good working relationship with project team, and local government and non-government actors.

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare work plan monthly.
  • Report/ work plan analysis (Target vs Achievement) and prepare action plan to achieve the program and sales target
  • Support to CM for arrange MWRA, adolescent meeting, SMC meeting, Advocacy meeting etc
  • Maintain stock register, leave, bank deposit, BCC materials, sales memo etc
  • Analysis of MPDTR, Tracking report etc
  • Compilation of Product requisition and submit to DM
  • Ensure product supply in time
  • Conduct advocacy meeting at Union and Upazilla level
  • Monitoring School session, MWRA, Newlywed and GSM activity
  • Arrange GSM monthly meeting.
  • Monthly/ quarterly/ yearly Reporting.
  • Update GSM list, support to fill up vacant GSM.
  • Attend GO-NGO coordination meeting and rapport build-up.
  • Coordinate with Sales Officer, SSPO, Area Executive, PO-CM, A&AO, DM,MO, DPM & PM for day-to-day activity.
  • Update all documentation and records.
  • Responsible for implementation of overall BCC and community mobilization activities.
  • Collect and compile data and information from the district offices.
  • Distribute materials and logistics including other things to the district offices.
  • Visit field offices and provide supportive supervision.
  • Compile monthly and quarterly performance report.
  • Carry out any others tasks as and when required.

Educational Requirements

  • Master degree in any discipline (Educational qualification is replaceable in case of candidates with related work experience).

Additional Requirements

  • Age 25 to 35 years
  • Age 25 to 35 years (it may be relaxed for the extra ordinary candidates)
